"Free Parking very clean. The continental breakfast was really good. SHE SEASONED THE POTATOES AND SAUSAGES LINKS. GREAT TASTE. THANKS FOR THE VARIETIES TOO. NICE LOBBY. COMFORTABLE CLEAN ROOM. I WOULD TRULY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. SORRY FOR THE ALL CAPS."

"Some of the earlier reviews serve to create some hesitancy about this home, that is entirely unwarranted. This is a great house to stay in. The bedroom distribution makes it very quiet once you retire. The pool was the cleanest I've ever seen and its layout, with a shelf around the entire perimeter, is perfect to small children who aren't good swimmers. It was installed about 2 ft above ground because the water table is so high, so it looks different. But in the hot weather, it was greatly appreciated. There were about 6 beach towels - which was fine for us - we just laid them over the deck rail and with the constant breeze they dried quickly. Bath towels were plentiful as well for our 13 person family. The drive to New Orleans is very simple and traffic quite moderate every time we went. We visited the WWII museum, which is fabulous and a must see. We also took a family cooking class, and a charter Red Snapper fishing trip where we caught about 150 #s. If you want to be in the "party city" atmosphere of New Orleans, you might want to stay in town, but we're not big on that, so this house was perfect. While there is a train track, the noise is barely noticeable, it never blew its horn at night and the noise was about the same as the traffic noise. We parked under the house, kept cars out of the sun and rain - I would definitely want to stay here again if going back to New Orleans."

"Staff was very friendly and check in was easy. I wish they had an earlier check in time than 4pm, but we made it work. We had a possible toilet leak when we were out that flooded our room. Staff was quick to spot the issue and when we arrived back from an outing they had already assigned a new room. None of our items were damaged in the flood either. Staff apologized profusely for the room change, but it was completely understandable and out of their control. Rooms were clean as was the rest of the hotel. Elevator was a bit slow, but nothing too bad. Overall we would visit again."
