"If you are a non-smoker, do yourself a favour and skip this place. The hotel uses central air conditioning and the rooms on the non-smoking floor (level 7) smell musky with a stale cigarette stench. We had 3 rooms in my group and all the rooms were the same even when we changed rooms. In addition, most of the service staff were non-Japanese, they could not communicate well and did not appear to be well trained and quite rude. "The hotel was really nice place to stay with many different kinds of hot springs. The dinner buffet was great as well the breakfast. The first staff who took care of our check-in (I think she was Chinese lady) spoke super-fast Japanese that I had a tough time understanding (by the way, I am Japanese). I know that check-in can be busy with people waiting for their turn but wish that she spoke a bit slower. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place to stay! "
