“The tub is hard to get in and the plastic door above the tub is uneasy to shut, therefore it leaks. The condition is excellent.”

“Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. ”

“For the bargain price we paid (I think £57) we could not fault this hotel. Free parking and only a 17 min walk to a gig we'd booked at The Picturedrome. Comfy bed, adequate shower, lots of tea/coffee, warm.”

“ My room had a slight issue with the curtains but the very helpful staff moved me to a bigger nicer room which was spotless. The Bed was super comfy and everything worked well. Town centre is just a few minutes walk away with plenty of dining options. Plenty of free on site parking available and breakfast in the morning was superb.”

“Helpful courteous staff from front of house to a cheerful morning greeting from the room cleaner in the corridor. Breakfast selection very good although larger mugs for tea needed!”

“5 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes walk to town centre, staff were average, not active enough, could be better. Room was big , but accessories could be improved”

“Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,……
