"The hotel was well presented internally - modern, well maintained, bright. The bar area was spacious, well lit, lots of seating, child-friendly, and included an outdoor seating area which overlooked a garden which was nice in the summer weather. The hotel had good amenities (bar, restaurant, swimming pool and leisure centre etc.). Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent and had lots of options, including GF options (although this could have been better managed). The pool and leisure centre were well maintained, as was our room (we did have a slight issue with the shower switching between hot/cold but we were able to get by with this). The hotel itself was relatively well priced and we were pleasantly surprised with our stay - the only things I'd really highlight as issues would be that the gluten free section of the breakfast buffet could be better managed for cross-contamination (there were people using the GF toaster for normal bread), and that parking could be offered at a cheaper/free rate for hotel guests. Overall, a decent hotel in a nice location - we'd stay again if visting the area."
