「Basic but clean room good free parking friendly good breakfast 」

「Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend ..」

「Clean and comfortable room, plesant staff and a great location. The only issue we had was constant buzzing noise which increased sporadically all night in room 14」

「The steps up to the rooms are quite steep. Room 21 was very small; it is much smaller than any room we’ve stayed in before. Managing two large suitcases required strategic piecemeal unpacking and repacking. The twin beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent.」

「Arriving later has not a problem, got straight in for a lovely evening meal. Staff were more than helpful and don't judge by going through the housing estate, once inside you overlook the river Trent, beautiful..」

「It was an okay stay. Location was convenient and I liked the idea of pub+hotel - easy for dining and drinking isn't it? However, the hotel rooms honestly need a bit of refurbishing and improvement on cleaniness. Shower faciltiies were a bit old and didn't function quite properly and stains were everywhere to be seen. But other than that price is okay.」
