"I recently enjoyed my second stay at Maids Head. I love their junior suites and this time I had the pleasure of Shardlake. A beautiful room at the front of the hotel looking down Tombland and across to the cathedral. It had a huge comfortable bed and a gorgeous roll top bath with complimentary White Company toiletries. There was also a walk-in shower and dual sinks. I do love the bathrooms at Maids Head. They've been very well designed. Another room favourite is the excellent selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. It was so lovely to stay somewhere that provided camomile tea. My suite was so calming and cosy. It was a wrench to leave it. Spotlessly clean too with a daily visit from housekeeping. All staff I encountered were so welcoming and friendly. Definitely my favourite place to stay in Norwich."
"My husband and I were celebrating my husbands birthday Our experience was wonderful from check in to check out! In particular when we went to have a swim one of the members of staff on the leisure centre desk was extremely helpful My husband… who is in his 60’s … has early onset Alzheimer’s. I was concerned about him being able to manager the locker system … remember which locker he was using but also the code and remembering that and how to input it etc. When I voiced this to the member of staff he immediately offered to help my husband. He also told him to alert him when he was out of the pool after his swim and he would help again by opening the locker for my husband. He was friendly asking my husband if he had enjoyed his swim. He wasn’t in the slightest bit patronising but helpful, professional and kind. My husband referred to this experience and the help he was so kindly given several times over his birthday weekend. It meant a lot to him … and hence to me too! This weekend was such a treat … paid for courtesy of Tesco Clubcard vouchers! … and a more expensive hotel than we usually stay in. Our experience was just wonderful. All staff we came into contact with were professional and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing! Our room was wonderful and spotless and the leisure pools and sauna the icing on the cake. Thank you to everyone at Dunston Hall for making our stay this weekend so memorable and enjoyable. Kind Regards Peter and Sarah"

"A lovely quiet peaceful place to stay, not far off the main road accessed through a few lanes. On a working farm in lovely surroundings. The cottage is lovely, rustic style with modern appliances, clean and tidy with virtually everything you could need, even tea and coffee and milk supplied as well as salt pepper oil washing up and dishwasher supplies, spare light bulbs all cooking utensals. Onsuite bathroom. There is a huge Tesco just 3 miles down the road which is a bonus and a waitrose nearby . You are permitted to walk around the farm and have a look around unless cattle are being moved around and then it is gated off. Ideal location for visiting the broads 8-10 miles drive away and about 30-40 mins drive from the coast. The hosts ginger and gold were great, kept us informed at every step from booking , to payment to checking in and out, and were available and responsive to contact if you needed them . "
