You cannot see it all in a few days. Find the small hidden gems, the tiny restaurants with 6-8 tables. If you are well traveled, you will find shrines and older buildings to be less impressive than in Europe. Embrace the people & activity of Tokyo.

Tokyo is such a fantastic city. Safe and quite relative to its size, it feels unlike being in most places. The food is fantastic, the people are polite and I've rarely been in a city as clean. Every time is not enough time and I'm always sad to go.

Tokyo is the safest, cleanest and easiest to navigate big city we have ever been to! Shopping in Ginza and Harajuku, museums, zoo, amazing food from Michelin star dining to the best street corner ramen and soba, Tsukiji fish market and so much more!

Tokyo is everything you have heard or read....busy, crowded, but wonderful. I did not hear one car honking, although there is alot of traffic, bicyclist, walkers. High energy but not chaotic. Amazing food, the cleanest city ever and the nicest people

Tokyo is an amazing destination. Restaurant choices are abundant and very reasonable in price, the people were polite, kind and respectful and there is so much to see and do. The train system was efficient and always on time. It's a very clean city!

Best avoid going to Tokyo during the New Year week. Except for tourist/hotel/train destinations, everything else is closed. Mom and Pop restaurants/shops are closed, fish markets are closed. There are less service workers available to help you out.

Tokyo is the capital city of Japan so it's very crowded with tourist and local residents. Super convenient as the subway well connected to lots of places. Personally love the whole country of Japan, Tokyo is a must go city for the first traveler.

Add Suica contactless payment, store in your smartphone wallet, this is used for travel on local/domestic public transport; but not the Bullet train. £5 = approx JPY1000 I added JPY9000 for a weeks holiday. Suica can be used at regular shops too.

Tokyo is an amazing place! Ive never seem so many people on the streets and underground in the subway. It's a Saturday night every night in most Cities outside of Downtown. Once you work out the subway system it's the way to go only $6 a day.
"The room was spacious. The hotel provided a lot of free amenities such as shampoo, facial wash, creams, etc. There’s also a family mart located inside the hotel. You are able to do laundry. The restaurant inside the hotel was great. Service was amazing. Rail station about a block away. "
