“We had a wonderful stay at Q-Rooms Harajuku! The location truly could not be better; everything was so convenient, yet the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. The cleanliness and attention to detail were above and beyond. The hosts provided everything we could possibly need, including shower and bath amenities, a washing machine, detergent, clothes hangers for drying laundry, Japanese snacks and tea, coffee, and bottled water in the refrigerator. It felt like true Japanese itareri tsukuseri……

“The one who made up the room on 24 May was somehow careless. The rubbish bin covering plastic bag was missed. The whole rubbish bin in toilet was left unhandled.”

The location was located conveniently around attractions and metro. We will consider staying here again. Check in was easy and communication with hosts was good. “Extremely disappointing reception service and baffling room arrangement ​I traveled with my family and booked three King Rooms (Non-Smoking) in the Southerntower. Unfortunately, our experience was heavily let down by the front desk staff during check-in. The receptionist who served us was completely smile-less and unfriendly. ​What annoyed us most was the room arrangement. These three identical rooms were placed on entirely different floors (despite having the same room numbers), which caused……

“Loved the location and the property setup. Very spacious for a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) and was so close to everything. Room was clean, modern and had all that we needed. The bathroom was separated into 3 rooms which made it really functional and ideal so 3 people could be in there at the same time (shower, toilet, sink). All hotel bathrooms should be like this! Also came with a washing machine which was easy to use and worked well. Very good value for what we got and it was so close to……

“Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice and we also really like the complimentary daily kick-off drink. The room is slightly small but it is very clean.”

“The hotel has shuttle bus service to west Shinjuku, which is good as you can save the 13 minutes walk. There are plenty of restaurants around. If you are tired of the Japanese food, you can try the Sizzler, or Denny's with a bit of Japanese flavor with in 5 minutes walk. As for the hotel service, it doesn't have the courtesy of a Japanese hotel to welcome you upon check in. It is cold if not blunt to me. Otherwise, house keeping is great.”
