“Excellent location. 100 yards to beach and we walked to all Surf City shops. About 1/2 mile away. House was great. We enjoyed our stay. We would go back again. The host let us check in early which was awesome!”

“House was just as advertised! It is a cozy cottage that is clean and stylish! Lots of outdoor space and easy walking to shops and restaurants. Loved the special decoration touches and uncluttered storage spaces! We also were impressed with the fenced in yard which was perfect for our toddler and dogs. I do have to agree with another review that the mattresses were not comfortable. Maybe too new and hard? Only other suggestion is a few pots with lids and a 9 x 13 Pyrex for those who like to cook……

“We had a great time at Poppy’s Place. Very clean and has all the basic amenities to include the Keurig coffee maker. Gas grill was great for making a hot dog lunch for the grandkids. Lots of beach chairs and items in the garage. Beach access 10 is the closest but does have stairs. Would stay here again. Great communication as well with Amber.”

“My family and I stayed here and appreciated the great communication with the host. The house was super clean, and the size makes it very easy to keep track of your belongings. We could come and go to the beach easily without paying the price of a beachfront property, and of course an outdoor shower is always nice to have! We felt very welcomed and cared for.”

“Absolutely loved staying at Sue’s. The location was perfect, along with the views. The interior was decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen. Towels were fluffy and beds were comfy! The hosts even let us stay an extra night. The outdoor shower was a hit. Thank you so much! ”

“Small rooms and bathrooms. Several roaches/waterbugs. No paperwork on arrival with information such as Wi-Fi, etc… First level is dark and musty. A lot of basic repairs needed. Like door handle falling off, doors not closing/opening easily. Excellent location. Would be better if some basic repairs/updates were done and have exterminator/holes from outside addressed.”
