“Lovely staff but unfortunately the room is not fit for purpose, food is decent Was showed room 8 but window broken (35 degree heat) & was given option for room9 a twin. *hole in floor trip hazard *curtain didnt open/close properly *no side lqmp* *Sheets scratchy *broken floor tiles en suite *shower rusty Was given a fan v grateful for but filthy & throwing off bits, cleaned it but not acceptable”

“Decent apartment, aimed at long stay I’d guess. Comfy bed No toiletries, would have liked tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll or something kitchen wise…and a dishwasher rather than a washing machine…but as I say fine for longer stay Also lounge sofa smelt bodyish Good communication though ”

“The room was too small, couldn't get round the bed without banging your foot. Also nowhere to put your suitcase other than the bed to empty it. You couldn't sit on the loo without banging your knees on the shower cubicle”

“Kel and Mel made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Gave us ideas about what we could do. We enjoyed a day walking along the canal and the next day to a local sites. The Breakfast was excellent.”

“A lovely hotel with beautiful views. Very nice restaurant with very good breakfast & dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very disappointed to find the pool out of order after our long drive, guess we should have rang ahead. Bedroom ok, bed & bedding good. There was an air on unit set up and plugged in but it was dead, there was a fan that was incredibly loud at night. Also most of the light fixtures didn’t seem to work. Shower was ok. A nice short stay but questionable if it was……

“The hotel could be amazing but unfortunately it is now dated and needs to be refurbished. The standard twin room does not have an overhead shower and the room was dated and shabby. There was no bottled water as stated either. The room was also very hot and they do not provide fans as standard. The pool is lovely but does need a little TLC and the showers in the changing rooms are extremely hot. As is the general temperature of the changing rooms. “We had a wonderful stay at this b and b which is in a beautiful setting. The hosts Sarah and Paul went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were very good with lots of choices and catered well for my gluten free needs.”
