"We had the best time! There were 11 of us, 6 adults, 5 children ages 3 - 10. The golf carts were probably the most popular with the kids, loading up all of our floaties and the host supplied paddle board made our beach day so much fun.The accommodations were exactly as advertised and we had lots of space for everyone to have their own room, bathroom and space to watch the TV's in every room - both upstairs and downstairs can be completely separate or as we used it - one large living area. It is a very nice place with a great view.The host was immediately responsive to any questions (we did not take the golf cart rental until we got there and realized they were a much appreciated extra) and we secured the 2 golf carts as soon as we arrived. Would definitely recommend taking the carts.The wine touring and general area of Osoyoos and Similkameen Valley are so much quieter and friendlier than the Kelowna area which has gotten so busy and commercial with the wine tastings and beach access in recent years. There were no wine tasting fees or they were waived upon purchase and no meal reservations required for our large group, just a heads up and they would set us up a table.No regrets for the longer drive from Calgary, well worth it!"

"This was our first stop on a long road journey. The hotel is spacious and comfortable. The rooms are tastefully updated however the sofabed is not all all comfortable. My daughter complained of a backache the next morning and she's just 11 so I'd hate to think what would happen to an adult. Glad we were just staying the night. Rest was ok. Breakfast is what you would expect from this part of the world."

"We loved this vacation at the Desert Surfside Inn. First off - the staff and people who run this property are AMAZING! The location is perfect, the condo we were in was LOVELY. They supply just about everything you need but we would have loved coffee filters as well : ). The place smelled and looked very clean. The toilet could have been a tiny bit cleaner (around the hinges) and we would appreciate more than 2 rolls of TP. There was 5 of us so 2 rolls were gone in the first 2 days. Everyone at the Inn were so kind and helpful. Anything we asked for- they were on it! The beach is sublime and they really look after the property well. The food choices in the area is great. We ate at the Barn Owl several times, as well as FUGASA because their food is FIRE! best burgers, breakfast food and divine sandwiches. Can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you!!!"
