“We had a lovely stay, close to the castle for walking, lovely food and friendly staff.
Sadly due to the age of the building we could here guests in other rooms, due to the squeaking floor boards in our room and other guests room, there was a point during the night we felt like guests where in our room when walking around upstairs.
Other than this which obviously cannot be helped overall a lovely hotel. ”
“This was easily the best place we’ve stayed all of our honeymoon! The staff were so sweet, room was beautiful and had an amazing view - breakfast was great and the bar was top notch as well! Definitely hope to make it out this way and stay here again ”

There was a rail below the decent sized basin for hand towel……
“Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent room. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Very impressed with this hotel and would definitely visit again. ”
“We had a very pleasant stay at the Hadley Bowling Green Inn - a great welcome, good dinner and breakfast, quiet room. We were surprised at how full the restaurant was on a Tuesday evening for a country pub which isn't even in a hamlet! They must be doing something right.”
