「Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.」

「Average hotel. They didn’t bother to tell us they were undergoing renovations during our stay so not ideal to be working up with loud drilling works right next to us. Mattress needed replacing several years ago.」

「Very welcoming arrival with a small tour around the grounds. Rooms clean and suitable for the 1 night we was there. Small communal area with tv, fridge and basic cooking equipment was a great little touch.」

「The hotels.com site states there is a reataurant at the location, there is but only open until 1500hrs, so that was a big issue as delivery was the next choice, pizza, indian etc not a great option and a minimium of £30 to get a delivery, a pain on your own. I then had an issue closing the room window as that neess maintenance, the tv controls were next, there were none and the great staff had to find a spare set. The staff were great and the pub nice, accomodation was tired and not in walking...

「Really nice hotel」

「服務人員熱情、早餐好吃。但房間略舊，有股強烈的氣味說不出是什麼」

「This rambling old place has a lot of character, and some eccentricities. I have stayed here several times and never had a reason to complain. I am an elderly woman travelling alone and would not keep coming back if my rooms were not clean and very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and most helpful. There is only limited parking but as yet I've had no problem - I understand that there is a public car park nearby, and also roadside parking is not difficult. A glass of wine beside the open...

「飯店的照片與實際的有很大出入，房間相對殘舊。飯店沒有提供牙刷及剃鬚用品。因為位處郊區，房間內蜘蛛的數量，多得恐怖。」

「We were looking for an overnight stop travelling back North from Southampton and came across here. There was a big extension being built to the front of the pub so parking was difficult but otherwise caused no inconvenience. We had 3 rooms and all were very comfortable and well equipped . What stood out about this place was the staff, all were genuinely lovely and friendly. Checked in and personally shown to our rooms. We ate at the pub and the food was quickly served and was simply delicious...

「First time staying in a hotel renovated from an old prison. Good experience staying here. Breakfast is superb.」

「環境尚算舒適，有免費泳池及健身室，但較舊一點，也沒有升降機。」

「I was arrived the hotel earlier around 11:00am and surprised that the staff was able to let me have an early check in, so grateful about that. Also the room was clean and the bed is comfortable, location is also good and easy to access all the attractions 」
