「Very kind staff. Affordable accommodations in an adorable town!」

「All trash cans were overflowing all weekend , found hair in the shower after it was supposedly cleaned. The free breakfast was cereal, waffles, danishes,bagel's and a coffee machine.」

「The owners were very helpful in suggesting possible places we might like to eat. They were very supportive as we struggled without our car for a day and a half. Between the interurban transit and the Honda dealer’s shuttle, we managed to still enjoy the area!」

「Not good. I knew not to expect much but for $104 a night but I didn’t think it would also smell like sewage and vomit. Stained mattress cover hanging out of the sheet, unreal grime levels as pictured. Would not have stayed the night if I’d seen these things before getting back to the room too late to leave….not worth it. Save and go somewhere else cleaner that won’t make you feel like your skin is crawling. Also pool looks like it’s been closed for a decade. Front desk guy was nice.」

「Room Number Eleven: The photo of the room did NOT match reality. The ancient berber carpet smelled like an ashtray and was full of runs and holes. It looked as if someone had punched a hole through the bathroom door with their fist, which did not make us feel safe. One of the shower walls was actually linoleum flooring that had buckled with use and the base of the shower had two thick mats that we refused to step on. The dead stink bug in the plastic potted plant was the cherry on top. We...

「If you just want a place to sleep and leave this place is for you. It's very outdated, dirty and uncomfortable. It's in dire need of a complete remodel!」

「We had to leave and stay at a different hotel due to the unsanitary conditions at Whitehall Cottages. The bed had dirt and hair on the sheets and all around the mattress. There’s no staff on the property and the owner didn’t respond back until later in the evening after we were already checked in to a different hotel. When I asked for a refund I was told he couldn’t do it because we booked through Expedia…」
