「Wingrove House is a welcoming small hotel in the heart of the historic village of Alfriston, just off the South Downs Way. It has been sympathetically restored to make it a comfortable, modern hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spotless. There is a comfortable lounge and I enjoyed sitting there with a book in the evening. Breakfast was also delicious and the restaurante service was great.」

I was able to check in prior to the normal check in time and have a nice rest that afternoon. I was so grateful for that kind accommodation. I have some food, allergies and they were able to work within those restrictions, and provide delicious fresh flavorful meals. Loosen your belt for the full Tiger breakfast! 「I have stayed here a few times and have always had a good stay. The staff are very friendly, and the food is very good and the rooms have everything you need. I was asked if I wanted to change my room when I arrived as the one I booked had a bath and another room was free with a shower, this was done without me asking, although I was not fussed but changed rooms anyway.」
