「Spent a couple of brilliant days in Winchester using the Wykeham Arms as our base. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms were wonderful and the breakfast was great. We would ddfinitely stay there again」

「We stayed for one night on our way back to Devon from Kent and we had a truly lovely time. Our room was large and sunny and had everything we could want. There was a lovely beer garden where we had a drink enjoying the afternoon sun and a really lovely dinner and super cooked to order breakfast. Staff were really friendly. A really great place to stay.」

「We liked the "cabin' style room. There was a large dent in the wall, i assume caused by the door handle. 」

「Not a great experience- they did not have the restaurant booking I had made just a week previous (they did say they could make room for us, but all seemed a bit disorganised) and breakfast wasn’t up to much (we overheard that the chef hadn’t shown up, however the staff member didn’t tell us this and we had to wait over half an hour and ask twice for coffees that he was doing at the bar). Room was nice just feel no one had much of a clue what was going on.」

「Very welcome by the check-in staff. Room ready and spacious and bright, pet made very welcome with no problem. Two night stay used the restaurant both night. Menu full of choice excellent starters and main with great dessert. Second night choose from "bar menu" but in the restaurant, very good choice. Prices very competitive in restaurant and bar. Great stay.... even though we didn't visit the Zoo!!! 」
