“Quite interesting.”

“Beautiful spot with lots of privacy.”

“Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations.……

“Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property is breathtaking, with gorgeous views in every direction. Both houses were perfect—spacious, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests for the small wedding we celebrated on-site, helping make the day truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“This is a great location for a large group. Plenty of space ( bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas), well appointed rooms, great kitchen with an ice machine and all needed appliances. Host is very responsive on site- including going above and beyond in our case to bring jumper cables to help a guest with a dead battery. Would recommend the Wayward Moose Lodge for your gathering.”
