"Hotel only has 8 room and everything was very organized "

"Room was huge as with Ryokan style accommodation and generally clean, What great is the reservation system for onsen so you can have a private slot for yourself/family instead of the usually gender sharing arrangement. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to Yunotsubo Kaido and 5 minutes to the train station and Aeon supermart. Unlike some osen town eg. Hakone, there is plenty of food option at night."

"Such a wonderful stay, would love to come back in fall."

"Nice and helpful staff, near lake and shopping, quiet "

"Situated in a scenic location with an unbelievable view over the surrounding mountains including mt Yufu. Very steep road up and easy to miss off the main road. Parking lot is good and was never crowded. Room was very spacious with 3 private onsens, though you’d only be using the outside ones purely for the surrounding views and sounds of nature! The daily Kaiseki meals were excellent with abundance of local delicacies including Bungo Wagyu beef! overall the resort felt a little dated and would...

"A great little hidden gem in this area - we stayed here as a stopover to our next location. Room was clean and super cozy. Staff was very nice and helpful with us settling in. Location is very quaint and I loved all the statues decorating the place. The bath was super nice! Would recommend staying here and getting the dinner & breakfast experience - the food smelt so good!

"Dinner & breakfast are below expectation with the price paid."

"It was a perfect trip. Although it is not center-located, but only one word can show its real value. "PERFECT". I traveled a lot of country and stayed lots of hotels, guesthouses. And I am so sure and so firm to say it. Caution: It's not a 5-star hotel, and I am really not a generous person when I give a score, but this time, i'm giving the highest score."

"The host Jin is a very pleasant man. He drove us to the evening onsen. Also lake kirin for a small fees. For a reasonable fees, he drove us to Mt Yu, famous onsen on the day we checked out. With his guide, we enjoyed our yufuin stay. :)"
