“Etwas unpersönlich, da Eingang nur mit Code. Echter Mensch beim Frühstück, was auch sehr gut war. Schönes Zimmer mit Mehrblick, kostenloser Parkplatz und Supermarkt vor der Tür. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Lediglich kein richtiger Klopapierhalter im Bad. Ansonsten alles top.”

“I booked this cottage through Expedia and received confirmation that my reservation was confirmed. I travelled around 300 miles from the south of England, while my elderly parents travelled from the north so we could meet there for a family break. On the day of arrival, I never received the promised key-safe information. After contacting Expedia, they were initially unable to locate my booking. I eventually obtained access details from a neighbour, only to discover that the property was occupied……

“The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem. A few niggles with property but it didn't……

“All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had everything I needed, and it was lovely to have breakfast included. I would happily stay again.”

“Clean room , comfy bed friendly staff , good breakfast.”

“Was not provided with the check-in information”

“Excelente lugar para quedarse, super tranquilo, todo casero y local. Un lugar encantador.”

“Great apartment to settle in. Cook dinner and do laundry. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Host was excellent to communicate with and got back to us quickly. Apartment is on a major road, which tends to be a little bit noisy. Until later at night.”

“We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future.”

“Clean, warm, friendly helpful staff.”

“I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. I was later told by a customer that you could order half portions of the main menu items. I didn’t realize this and would have done so. Good drafts on tap, staff were friendly but the room……

“Excellent service with the food absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend. On a small note my wife who is partially sighted could not clearly see some of the steps when going down the stairs due to the pattern of the carpet. This however was the only issue with the rest of hotel/ pub be excellently set out and presented. Breakfast was also exquisite. Overall a 5 star stay just make the stairs down more visible for anyone who is visually impaired.”
