“This place was completely disgusting, foul ordr paint chipping off walls and doors. AC did not work. We spoke with front desk they just looed at us like we were crazy.”

“This property is a slice of Island Time perfection. Completely and beautifully renovated, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The location is off the main road, quiet and laid back. It has a wonderful view of the bay, a lovely pool area, and a quick drive to the restaurants and shops of Matlacha. Without reservation I highly recommend Matlacha on Shoreview for your next island get-away.”

“If I could give this a 6 star rating, I would. Nothing fancy but very nice. Also a great value. Only about a little over a mile to the beach. The owner was super nice and very helpful. I plan on going back again this summer for sure.”

“This listing was false advertising. There was no balcony or patio that was right on the sand as described. The closest beach was a 5 to 10 minute drive. The outside backyard was an absolute mess nowhere to hang out fire bit was overgrown with plants and debris. Secondary bathroom had a roach problem. Inside door handle fell off needs to be tightened or repaired. There is no private access to a beach at all. Left multiple messages for the homeowner with no return call. Will not be returning to……
