“Very cute and laid back old Hawaii feel. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The village of Hawi was our favorite stop on the island. Short walk from the hotel to the Main Street with shops and restaurants. We only stayed one night and have already talked about coming back and staying longer.”

“The host was very responsive to questions, and the location was ideal for a reasonably-priced property close to Volcano National Park.We came from Waikoloa, and had a much better experience yo see the park with an overnight stay here.”

“Good! it's very close to the volcano park. we observed the volcano eruption when we stayed here!!! The owner is a nice person. ”

“Staff was great”

“Host interaction and the amenities are sufficient. However, there were some issues...this home is a duplex, so youre at the mercy of the upstairs renters (loud stomping all day) and neighbors (loud barking dogs all day/night). The host provides sound machines and ear plugs, but they provided little relief. The washer/dry are in a shared laundry room, so you have to time laundry; dryers take forever. ”

“The house was even better than we expected. Really an amazing location and it’s very close to many good restaurants and the farmers market. Being able to watch the surfers every morning is entertaining. 100% would rent again. ”

“Beautiful home! It had all we needed - was in a quiet neighborhood. Really enjoyed our stay - access to the Beach Resort was nice; we spent a couple of days lounging on the beach there. Owners were very responsive and easy to work with. LOVE the sink in the half bath! So very awesome!! ”
