“The staff are nice and super friendly. Room is clean and comfortable, price is fair. Close to the Tyne bridge, bars nearby are nice but noisy at night. About 20 minutes to walk to and from train station.”

Staff were very friendly, smart young people who seem to run a good little enterprise. Lively little pub with music on and football competing for noise. “This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people. The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices. Convenient……
