"We were very looked after! The room was very clean and spacious. The views were incredible from our room. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food prepared by Chef Pack was delicious and we do strongly recommend having dinner at the noodle bar if you get the chance. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Positives: The mountain and lake view was breathtaking. The price was reasonable for a summer weekend. The area around the property is walkable with a nice sidewalk, Parking was easy and convenient. Weakness: The bath and shower area was dated. No elevator for the 2nd floor rooms. Steps are narrow for all of us with larger feet (difficult to navigate)."

"This is a gem of a hotel. Located on the edge of the lake with an amazing view. The hotel has a genuine Japanese vibe. The rooms have baths with hot spring water. The hotel staff have variable english skills but they are very helpful. The nearby village has lots of great restaurants. 30 minute drive to Rusutsu."
