“Throughly enjoyed our stay as a family with our dog!
Staff were super friendly and so helpful and inviting.
The location is great with a beautiful view of the lake.
We ate in the restaurant for dinner and would definitely recommend and the breakfast was really tasty.
Beds really comfortable and clean! Room has everything you need.
Will be back for sure!”

“We booked Holbeck Ghyll as a special treat after two days of walking in the Lake District and were genuinely looking forward to it. The reality was a serious disappointment.
The room was in a poor state of repair: mould on the bathroom ceiling, rusted window frames, failing grout and sealant with black mould in the tile joints, and paint peeling throughout the bathroom. These are not superficial issues — they represent basic maintenance failures that should not exist in any hotel, let alone one……

“Stunning location with amazing views and lots of character.
We had an outside room (8) which was small but had everything we needed.
Really comfy bed and great shower.
Breakfast was fabulous.
Staff really friendly.
Will definitely return 😁”
