“The Octant Vila Monte is a beautiful hotel set into the countryside about 4-5 miles from the beach. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed and peaceful as the hotel, its grounds and our room were presented beautifully. The staff in all areas were so kind, friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was outstanding with fresh produce and a stunning view and the hotel restaurant served amazing food each day. The adults only po was t heated but with the……

“Not sure why this hotel is only 1 star - it was better than some 3 star hotels. Mario on reception is very helpful and friendly. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay including parking and a pool. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Wifi good, shower pressure good. Breakfast ok but lots of homemade cakes which were yummy. Walk into Tavira starts on busy main road with no footpath, but its fine if you are careful. Would recommend this hotel.”

“Breakfast was not my favorite but they did well at trying to make it homemadish. With the outdoor areas were cleaner and more set up. The staff were really nice! ”

“I will say that arriving to the location was challenging with a car. The receptionist was too fast with directions to get our rental safely parked (nearby grocery store overnight). I realize she's been at the job awhile so it may seem quite simple for her. We did appreciate the apartment but the entry door, 3 flights up, is literally at the commune kitchen. Busy area with guests! The view on top terrace was the best asset.”

“Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt. Einfache aber saubere Unterkunft. Jeden Tag wurde gereinigt und die Betten gemacht. Alle 2 Tage frische Handtücher. Für ein Studio nicht selbstverständlich. Parkplatz und Fahrkarten für die Bummelbahn sind mit dabei. Zum Essen würde ich die nahegelegenen Lokale in Santa Lucia oder Tavira empfehlen. Wir werden wiederkommen”
