Great location at great property

Had a great time at this property. It is well located between the restaurants and beaches. Very quiet neighborhood and good amenities. House was stocked with everything we needed and the one issue we had was remedied immediately. Would recommend to anyone.

House is less than a 5 minute walk to the bay and less than 10 minutes walk to Bean point. Pool and spa are wonderful, the backyard is like an oasis. Owner is prompt on all correspondence. It was the perfect place for our anniversary week

We love the Sassy Seahorse

We've been vacationing here for several years. We love the location, the backyard, and the ability to bring along our dog. Larry has continued to be a lovely host each year. This was our first visit after the hurricanes. It was wonderful to see the resilience and hard work from everyone on AMI. We can't wait to visit again.

Island Oasis

This was the perfect place to stay with my husband and our son (just under a yr old). The house was the perfect size for us and had anything we needed from frying pans to pool/beach supplies. The location is also great as you’re within walking distance to both the beach and the bay. We’re already planning our trip for next year and will be returning to the Sassy Seahoirse. Owners were great and very easy to communicate with.

Wonderful place!

We had a wonderful week at the Sassy Seahorse! The location was perfect and an easy walk to lots of restaurants and the beach for us and our family of four. Our boys ages 3 and 5 had an easy time walking around and we loved the pool! Very clean and Larry was very accommodating! Will be back!

Wonderful home with great location

We loved staying at the Sassy Seahorse! Larry was quick with all communication and very helpful. The house has lots of character and charm as well! We especially loved the pool and spa. The pool was very warm for staying in January. It even came with pool and beach toys. We would stay at the Sassy Seahorse again!

A wonderful stay at the Sassy Seahorse

Our stay was truly wonderful. Not only is the location and the house/back yard a dream, but Larry was so kind and generous. Our daughter was sick our first two days of the trip and Larry was flexible and understanding. Also, the communication was 10/10. We highly recommend Larry and his home.

Fabulous pre-holiday vacation

We loved everything about our stay. The house was so clean and comfortable and perfectly situated at the north end of AMI in a quiet friendly neighborhood. The backyard felt like a resort oasis with the beautiful foliage and furniture surrounding the pool and hot tub. We stayed busy on our rented golf cart and waiting for the gorgeous ocean sunsets at the end of our road.

Great House

While there is plenty to do on AMI, this property provides all you need. The pool and deck are just a relaxing spot surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Big family room to sit and socialize, watch TV or just read. Perfect location for a rest and relaxation get away. Already signed up for next year!

Relaxing family beach trip

The property was a perfect home base for our family of four. Our youngest still naps so we appreciated the great pool and outdoor areas to utilize during naps after a break from the beach or fishing. Awesome Vacation Spot

We loved our stay at the Sassy Seahorse. It’s in the quiet part of AMI which was great. The property is themed and decorated perfectly. Having our own pool and spa was great after a day at the beach. Mr Larry and his wife are great hosts and really care about their tenants. Everything you need is onsite. We will be returning clients in the future.

A Week in AMI

This place is excellent, inside and out. The house is perfectly maintained, spacious and very comfortable. The backyard with pool is even better. Great place to lounge after a day on the beach. Location is excellent, 2 blocks from bay, 4 blocks from beach at northern tip. Larry was a a perfect host. Always responded immediately if we had any questions.

Sassy Seahorse

We have been coming back year after year to stay at the Sassy Seahorse! The back yard is perfect place to spend time outdoors when you are not at the beach. Walking to the bay side to see sunrise and the gulf side to see sunsets are our favorite. We love that the location is close to some of our favorite places to eat. Also, it has everything you need to enjoy a meals at home. The home is lovingly well taken care of. The hosts are very helpful & responsive.

Sassy Seahorse; A Perfect Get-away

Our trip to Anna Maria Island was Thirty-three days of lush, tropical paradise that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. The house was clean, comfortable, and supplied with everything we could possibly need during our stay. It was also beautifully furnished and adorned with colorful art throughout. The pool/spa area was an oasis of tall flourishing palm trees, colorful plant life, and whimsical garden art. And to top it off, there was a large, furnished tiki bar for us to enjoy! Our host, Larry was excellent! We’ve never experienced a more accommodating host. If we could give the Sassy Seahorse a 10-star rating, we would.

Best House on the Island

This home is absolutely beautiful. The pictures are great, but to see the house and experience it in person is even better. The inside is perfectly decorated. So much care has been taken to carry the theme throughout the house. It is a very relaxing home. The hosts provide you with everything you need to enjoy your stay. That's just the inside. The outside is just amazing. The owners have created a perfect secluded paradise with the pool, hot tub and tiki hut. And the outdoor shower is the greatest! If you can pry yourself away from the house, it is in the perfect location. Quick walk to Bean Point, Rod and Reel and City Pier. Super quiet neighborhood. The owners are just the nicest people you could ever meet. If you are looking for the best place to get away for a relaxing stay on the island, this is the place. We will be back again!

Great location, extremely well stocked, incredible pool area

While not on the beach directly, access to the beach was simple (couple blocks walk). Even on the 4th of July weekend the portion of the beach we accessed was much less crowded than other beaches we've gone to during the same time period. Being within walking distance was hugely beneficial since parking at the access point was extremely limited. The property itself was immaculate and well stocked with plenty of bath and beach towels, extra sheets and pillows, starter soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. The kitchen was the most well stocked we've seen, with plenty of cooking, serving, and utensils and (uncharacteristic of other places we stayed) plenty of NICE containers for leftovers. The biggest draw for the "sassy seahorse", though, is the pool area in the back yard. Beautifully landscaped and private, the area was SO relaxing any time of day, and beautifully lit at night. Even in the heat of the day, the tiki hut with its fan was fine for dining outside. While there are certainly newer and bigger properties closer to the beach, in peaking over the fences I still feel this property had the nicest and most private of any we saw. We would definitely go back to the Sassy Seahorse.
