"Hotel in an excellent location if going from terminal 4 I did go to restaurant for my evening meal and I did not enjoy both the starters and main just tasted not right so that is why I o my gave it a 3-4 star"

"We had a decent overnight stay at the Hotel 261 my party of 3. The hotel was affordable and in the location that we needed. However on asking if we wanted breakfast the next morning. I would advise guests that stay in the future to say no to breakfast and find a cafe which is just down the road from the hotel. My friends and I all paid £10 each for breakfast, the next morning via the hotel, where we were directed to an Italian restaurant. When we got there we were basically told that all we could have for our £10 each was a cup of tea & some toast. As the Italian restaurant could not cook full English breakfasts with them being an Italian restaurant. £10 for a cup of a tea & a 2 slices of toast seemed a bit excessive to me. The hotel hasn’t sorted out a partial refund for us, which we complained to the receptionist, on our return. They’ve done nothing to help so will not be returning to that hotel again. So if any guests arrive in the future please say no to paying for breakfast at the hotel and find a cafe yourself. Which is only a 5 minute walk away. Then you may get a decent breakfast!"

"If you are a senior citizens, really important to let them know and check in some of the rooms have the older fashion type bathtubs are very hard for seniors to get in, but they will move to a shower only situation and even there you need to ask for towels because it’s a bit slippery other than that. The combination is very nice And we enjoyed our stay. In US dollars the breakfast is a bit expensive but enjoying it once or twice while you’re there, you’ll really like it."

"This was one of my most favourite hotels in London. The staff were so nice, polite and patient. I arrive very late, 2am and staff wrre available and checked me in quickly. I always travel solo so most of the single rooms I book tend to be very small and cramped. This eingle room however was very spacious and the toliet bathroom had all the toiletries I needed. It's very close to South Kensington station and V&A."

"We loved our stay here. Every area of the hotel was spotless. The staff were really friendly and helpful and there was always someone at the front desk. We had a quirky room in the top of the hotel. We had tea, coffee & water provided with lovely little toiletries too. We had drinks from the bar a few times during our stay & sat in the garden at the back of the hotel. The hotel is in a nice area within walking distance of two tube stations. Easy access to all areas of London. It backs on to a lovely little park area. I would highly recommend staying here."
