"We stayed at this hotel as we were attending a family event there, which was excellent and perfect for the occasion. However as guests we left disappointed. The hotel itself felt dated with breakfast limited and understaffed. For a 4-star hotel we were expecting something more."

"Staying at Ballyvolane was like being in an Irish historical novel. It was amazing in every aspect: food, bed comfort, and especially the staff. They made us feel so welcome. We would recommend Ballyvolane to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful manor house!"

"Modern well appointed hotel in a convenient position for the City centre/ visitor sights. Friendly professional staff. Excellent breakfast. Lively Hotel restaurant; good menu. The Absolute is expensive, but Ireland is!"
