Run down property that is not well maintained. Lots of broken things and I'll equipped

Issues with rental:Online printable document for rental information had wrong information about lock box for keys. It said it was on front porch next to gate but only a realtor Bluetooth key box was there. Finally found another instructions it was at rear door. Upstairs toilet doesn't fill and flush reliably. Sometimes had to manually fill or wait a long time. Street side door very hard to slide open and cannot be locked with key or lever from inside. General upkeep of place is poor. Torn screens. Spongy wood stairs outside in front. Too much junk in and disorganized kitchen drawers. Not equipped with proper supplies. No soap/body wash for downstairs shower. No can openerNo privacy curtain other than see thru shade for upstairs bath and tub. Several broken kitchen drawers. Batteries not working on TV Remotes when arrived. Had to steal some from downstairs remotes and rummage in drawers to get two upstairs working. Several broken heaters. Street side porch lights don't work Power receptacles on street side inside wall don't work. Ceiling fan blades drooping and loose blades. Dangerous and ugly. Refrigerator door seal coming off and no light in refrigerator Garden tub stopper hard to get out of drain when full.

Great place w Plenty of room.

Took family n friends down for Long weekend. House has Lots of room and Great Location. Will be back. Oh n Caught lots of BIG DRUM rt off the dock in back.

Sargent, TX - an uncut precious gem

A nice accommodation for families that love to fish. The little dock out back was amazing as far as catching fish and crabs go. They had crab traps for us to use, and we caught a TON of crab! The beach was fun for fishing too. The owners were highly responsive to any questions or concerns which made the rental process much easier. This was the first VRBO we’ve stayed that had spices in the cabinets, which was nice. The next door neighbors were very nice too. We had a lovely time!

Loved it!!!

We stayed at the house for 4 nights and 5 days and had a great time! My parents and both my kids and grand daughter all went and we enjoyed everything. It was nice to have the beach to ourselves and not a lot of people around. We just relaxed and hated to leave. My son enjoyed fishing and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. We hope to be able to go again, it was very nice!

10 days in Sargent Paradise

Great fishing. Caught a 41” bull redfish on canal Dock; and lots of flounder, catfish, sheepshead other redfish and over 40 crabs. Tv’s worked great to entertain littles, dual kitchens, nice beds for alll 8 people

Awesomeness in Sargent!

This is an amazing property with views galore! The upstairs was perfect for the wife and I. We had our personal space, and room to entertain. The downstairs was perfect for our guests (2 couples). The only complaint was the North wind and rain on Friday. But you can't blame Mother Nature on the house. We will definitely rent this place again. Convenient to the beach and surf fishing. All of us give this place a thumbs up!

Nice beach house vibe

Nice comfortable place with beach house feel. Beach across the street is down to the granite blocks defending the island from erosion at all but low tides but you still get the waves, smell and sound of the sea. The house has crab traps and you can drop them off the dock on the sound to catch dinner (fished up 2 large blue crabs without trying hard). Good wifi. Nice place and owner.

Definitely! Had a blast catching fish and just walking up and down the beach. Plus spending time with Mamma and grilling out. Awesome neighbors!!

Wonderful stay

We want to thank Victoria and her family for sharing her beautiful home with us! it is really a relaxing and beautiful place. Me, wife and my 2 kids really enjoyed the wonderful beachfront view as well as fishing off the dock in the back on the intracoastal canal. An underwater light would have made it just perfect but we were able to catch a few fish anyway as I brought my boat along and secured it to the dock. We also cooked burgers on the bbq pit provided and enjoyed the huge back yard. This is definitely a place that we would love to stay again.

Great time with our family!

We stayed here with three kids and five adults. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. While the house is dated a bit, it does have all the necessary items for a nice stay. We cooked full meals with the dishes and pots/pans from the kitchen. The owners were very helpful when the fishing lights were not working and sent their cleaning lady over with parts to repair the light. We caught so many fish with the kids and we all had a really great time. We also thoroughly enjoyed the views each morning and at sunset and the location near the beach and on the canal was great for everyone.

Very nice, lots of deck space to catch the views of the intra-coastal canal or the ocean. Owners are very friendly and available if you have any questions. Nice peaceful getaway.
