“It was in a great location. I do not like contactless check in and service. There were no amenities. Shower head and faucet did not work properly. We were moved to another room which was better except that the shower was filthy. Mold in the shower. We were so discussed that we left early the next morning. Not high end or classy. What's worse is that I discovered it after shower when I was using it. This was unacceptable, especially for an esteemed vacation house like this. When I reported the issue to the front desk during check out, I received no apology and was told that no compensation could be offered because the booking was made through a third party (on Expedia), and the front desk could do nothing about it. He said he would report to the manager, and I received no follow-up. I find this response both unprofessional and disappointing. I also wrote an email to the management team and received no response. The general experience was unpleasant. I hope I can receive proper settlement from the hotel management team."
