Restuarant / pub on site was a bonus although we only used it for the free breakfast which was basic but good. Staff were super friendly and helpful. “For the cheap price you get what you get. The air conditioning was full blast and very noisy. There is a lot of dampness on the windows. Floor bathroom is in very poor condition. We had to change rooms because there was lipstick on the mirror. Second room they had to come change de fire alarm battery as it was beeping non stop. “The hotel service staff are very welcoming and make people feel comfortable. But the facilities are too old, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom is very loud, which is unbearable! The breakfast was very basic, the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had.”

“We stayed here for a night. The room was very comfortable and had air-conditioning. The staff are very very friendly. They let us park our car there after we checked out so that we could use our bikes to go on a bike ride on the waterfront trail there in Bowmanville. Close by there is a splash pad for kids to play around in. It’s right on Lake Ontario, where you could go for a dip too.”

Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts.
