“Very nice, traditional hotel. Friendly staff: big, free car park and excellent location close to shops and beach. Can be noisy- rooms at the front overlook several bars which are loud, especially at closing. Rooms at the back have wonderful sea views but overlook the bar and outside area where weddings etc may be celebrated quite late into the night!”

“It is situated where everything is local and within walking distance. The beach is on the doorstep also shops, and dining facilities not to far away. The hotel was a excellent choice and is first class, overall a very enjoyable stay. ”

“No food options, but was a room with microwave in you could heat some food in. Didnt bother me as we ate out anyway. Bed was very comfortable. We came back to the apartment at around 9pm. “Unfortunately we didn't stay the night, we had to leave due to family circumstances. We had a lovely welcome at reception. The gentleman on duty was really helpful and supportive. The room was excellent, as was the view. Everything in the hotel was fresh and clean. ”

“The room was amazing spacious and clean to a high standard. My only issue was we paid for a sea view but had a call to say someone had booked 2 mins before myself and the sea view room had been taken. No offer of a refunded as we paid extra for the sea view that we didn’t get. ”

“I stay at the Glendale regularly to visit my daughter and granddaughter who live nearby. It is a lovely hotel above an Italian restaurant with very convenient access to Penarth train station with regular trains into nearby Cardiff. It has both single and double size rooms and I usually choose a single.
