The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants. It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport.”

“What a great weekend spent at this amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was huge, extremely clean and had a great view of the horses in the neighbouring field. The main selling point for us was that this hotel was dog friendly. Needless to say, we will be returning next year.”

“Polite and helpful customer service. Clean and cozy. The breakfast is very good especially the fish. The only draw back is the WiFi - as it is free, its bandwidth is limited, so a bit slow and unstable.”

“Friendly staff, checked in at the bar and even though it was busy the bartender was so friendly and showed us straight to the room with no wait. Comfy and well decorated room. Breakfast was great (they can do vegan if you ask and had 0 fuss). ”

Beautiful room , very smart and clean, lovely river views, comfy bed and spotless linen.Only downside to room 19 is the noise during the day and early eve from people eating below on the terrace, but very quiet overnight. Also before 9am in the morning, hammer banging and electric drill noise outside window next to our headboard, suggest workmen check if room occupied before commencing work! But overall would recommend a stay, the staff were all very friendly and……
