The service was terrible. I left a jacket in the self-service restaurant, and an employee said they saw it, but when I inquired about it, there was no result. I even asked the front desk, but the jacket was simply gone. Although it wasn't worth much, I'm truly disappointed with this kind of service.

We paid extra for an ocean view room and received one only having a view of palm trees, it was nice but now what I paid for. The wifi and service should be upgraded as we had no wifi in our room. The room service is advertised as 24 hours but doesn’t open till 6pm and closes at 10. The food variety was limited and the food that was available wasn’t available all the time. The resort was nice and the beach was kept clean and was fun, the employees are very respectful and I have no issues there.

Great hotel. The staff were accommodating, friendly and the food was great. The beach front was beautiful with the cabanas. However, the lounge chairs were in very little quantity. The hotel activities were fun. I suggest they improve their wifi range. It’s only available on common areas but still a little laggy at times. It would be great if the wifi was accessible to the hotel rooms. Also their TVs do not stream any channels. Aside from those minor inconveniences, we had a wonderful time at Flamingo Cancun.

We stayed here for 7 days, and I honestly have nothing to complain about. According to the staff, the building is already 20 years old, but in my opinion it’s still in very good condition—well maintained and always clean. The resort gets busy during meal times. There are two restaurants: one buffet and one fine dining. There’s also a snack bar, a pizza area, and a burger area. Most of the guests are families and seniors. There’s no nightlife here. By 11:00 PM, all the bars are closed, so the nights are really quiet and relaxing—no loud music, just peaceful surroundings. We booked two rooms: one on the 3rd floor with an ocean view, and another one closer to the pool area. The resort is very close to the beach—only about a 3-minute walk from our room, and you’re already there. We always left a tip in the room, and the staff consistently did a great job. Our room was cleaned well every day, and the fridge was always refilled with Coke and some beers. Overall, it was a very relaxing and pleasant stay.

L hotel est tres propre, un grand choix au bar avec de vrais alcools, un buffet avec juste ce qu'il faut en choix et très bon. Personnel très agreables et souriants. The room was not as pictured on the website as a 'lagoon' view. The room faces the very loud and busy highway and you cannot see the lagoon for the derelict building that stretches the length of the hotel. Staff were able to move me to a room on the other side of the building the next day as the traffic was too loud to sleep. The staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel did not seem to be ready for the influx of guests as there was painting and renovating occurring throughout the hotel. There were also brand new staff everywhere that did not know the facility or procedures. Sounds like the hotel has changed management and is going through personnel flux. There are not enough lounge chairs at any of the pools for the number of people in house. Guests go out early in the morning to claim their chair for the day. Some legitimately use the chair throughout the day and others do not. So unfair to other guests.

We had a great stay at Flamingo Cancún! The beach was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were great! Even decorating our room for our anniversary! The drinks were amazing as the all inclusive package included branded spirits which I haven’t come across before. Only a few minor issues with the rooms being a little dated/ broken. Our tap in the bathroom fell off sometimes when showering. As well the wifi was incredibly slow. So if you are needing to do work while away I wouldn’t recommend. However was nice to disconnect! The food was alright… not much selection and got a bit repetitive after a few days .Also the buffet didn’t label very well… so wouldn’t recommend if you have dietary restrictions. However, overall it was an amazing holiday! And for the price it was an incredible experience! Would visit again.

I had high hopes for my stay at Flamingo Cancun Resort, especially since I called 3–4 weeks in advance to confirm that my room would be properly accommodated before arrival. Unfortunately, my experience did not match the expectations that were set. Upon arrival, I was not welcomed with the advertised drink, which was a small detail but set the tone for the rest of the stay. More concerning, my confirmed room was not available. Instead, I was placed in a downgraded, outdated room that did not reflect what I had reserved or prepared for. The pools and hot tubs were also very cold throughout the stay, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the amenities. On the second night, I was moved to a different room and was told I would have access to a butler. However, the butler did not answer calls, which made that upgrade feel meaningless. Overall, the experience lacked the level of service, communication, and follow-through that was expected. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve consistency between what is advertised and what guests actually receive.

Very Clean rooms, and Very Clean Property, Staff was very attentive and genuinely seemed to care about you and your visit. The food at the restaurant was great, the Buffett food was good but lacking a bit in verity - this was not a deal breaker, the food was still good. Great location, and I will stay there again.

Death by a thousand cuts... The hotel is genuinely nice: clean and well-maintained. The staff were always friendly, but the service was very slow. Room service is a joke. When you can get through, expect it to take 45+ mins and arrive cold. "You are not our only order" I was told when I phoned to follow up. The pizzeria is great, though. When we arrived, our family room was not ready, and we were "upgraded" to a room with a sea view, but that meant my kids had to share a bed. The phone in that room did not work, and it took three days of repeated trips to reception to get a resolution: move to ANOTHER room. The rooms were cleaned every day as you'd expect, but sometimes only in the early evening! The coffee/fridge was not always restocked. The coffee pot was not always cleaned. One morning I found the dried up coffee from the previous morning. Yuck! On our first day, we had lunch at the Albatros restaurant, which was sub-par. drinks took ages and my wife's "paella" was just a pile of rice with one mussel and one sad shrimp. WIFI is fine close to the lobby, but spotty everywhere else. In the room, I found it was fine ONLY if I sat on the edge of the bed nearest the door. Everywhere else: nada. You'll be hounded daily by a guy offering free massages in exchange for a sales presentation. On the last day, the barmen at the pool bar were more interested in chatting up some Spanish-speaking ladies than serving me. So it's a nice hotel, but it could be so much better.
