very good location, safe area, beach around the corner, restaurants and shopping malls within walking distance. Great beach and pool, 24/7 store right around the corner, pharmacy right there.

*View from dining, living, master bedroom is 5 stars*plenty of very hot water. Cooking pans are scratched & not usable. White towels are bad stain. I did lots of disinfecting cleaning
Balcony overlooks top of villas so you have to strategically sit for the incredible view.
Kitchen view overlook’s entrance hallway & top of hospital in Kukulkan Plaza.
Had to cover corner chair with bed spread. Disgusting stains
Doors are gross sticky. Shower knob inside badly corroded

Inexpensive condo in need of upkeep

Our condo in Villas Marlin was OK for the price. The gas stove did not work, so that ruined our plan to eat breakfasts at home. The condo complex is decent, with a great location and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Probably the worst thing was a constant low level sewage smell.

Overall the location is great and so is the beach. It’s also safe and has security. The condo is in need of an update and the second bathroom smells of the sewer. I’m not picky but this place needs everything replaced. They also were doing construction and it was super loud and messy. Really they should not have rented during construction. The ocean view is great but you do look over 2 roof tops. If your not picky about you accommodations and just want a great location and beach this place is for you.

So, I would like to write a very honest review , it is a tiny bit critical but overall very positive. The apartment itself is worn(out). A lot of trim and doors are painted black with a million chips. And the whole apartment needs a remodel/refinish. However, the location is spectacular! It is right on an absolutly gorgeous beach! Villa Marlin is surrounded by huge and super expensive hotels all up and down the same beach. The condo is much more reasonable than those hotels! There is a shopping center that has a supermarket in it, in the building in front of the condo, so that is super convenient. There is public transportation (bus) that runs up and down the length of the beach. You can buy groceries and prepare them in the condo because there are pots and pans and utensils and glasses available and you can save money rather than eating it all your meals out. There are many tours and trips you can make using the condo as your base of. operations. The hotel zone up and down the beach is very safe and walkable. We enjoyed our stay, I only took off one star for the condition of the property. I hope you have an enjoyable stay like we had!

Llegamos en la temporada de l tormenta tropical Alberto. Y por eso no queríamos caer mal a las personas que trabajan detrás de este negocio. La primera noche llegué y me pareció acogedor pero había mucho polvo alrededor de la cocina, tuve que trapear el cuarto principal porque estaba mojado, no dijimos nada porque había mucha lluvia en todos lados. Quisimos pasar desapercibido la primera noche pero la segunda ya no pudimos dormir, estaba inundado, parecía que la lluvia está adentro de la habitación, la cama mojada, el piso mojado todas las sábanas. Tuvimos que dormir en el sofá, solo la segunda habitación estuvo bien. La piscina estuvo bien y la cercanía a todos lados. El departamento estuvo muy bien pero la falla fue la lluvia que mojó todo y nos dijeron que era por una instalación de aire acondicionado que por cierto no nos dejaba dormir la primera noche por los martillos. Ojalá puedan arreglar el lugar porque está muy céntrico
