“The room was nice, the shower worked great and the location is fantastic as it's so close to the ferry/water taxi, and pretty central to most things on the island. It did get a bit loud at night, but it wasn't a big issue. I was disappointed with the pool - it's a very small rooftop pool, and is covered by the roof. I didn't realize that in advance and I don't think the pictures I had seen made that very clear. If I had known that in advance, I might have stayed elsewhere as an outdoor pool, in……

“We had an amazing beachfront room. There was so much space and the view was incredible. Everything at Pelican Reef Vilas was outstanding! The beach was kept clean, the pool, the bar area and all the staff were incredible! If I could give them more stars I would! The people of Belize are also amazing!! ”

“Pretty room. Kitchen was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Mosquitoes were fierce! It would have been nice to have shampoo and soap for the shower. Walkable to nice beach and restaurants. Would stay again.”

“True, there IS a beach connected to the property, however, there is a sea wall, so no "regular" access to the ocean. Although the water at sea wall was deep enough for a boat, you technically "could" get in the water from the boat dock. Our room "door" was a patio slider ...with curtains... As we were on the ground floor, people walking by could see our entire room. When the curtains were closed for privacy, the room was dark... convenient early morning but not so during the day. So when……

“I turned the AC off while I was not in the room and would turn it on when I got back. The room cooled down very fast. The room was clean and the rain shower head was so relaxing after a day in the sun. The staff will help arrange golf cart rentals and direct you where to get dinner but the BEST dinner I ate was at Jacks Poolside Bar. The owner is a chef and his food is delicious, makes a great breakfast as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you don't care about having an ocean……

“The staff at Corona Del Mar are so welcoming and friendly. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. The ladies at the front desk can arrange any kind of excursion you’d like. We dove The Blue Hole, snork The restaurant is excellent. Try the fish and chips! ”
