“This was an excellent stay! It was a surprising little hideaway in what I consider to be a remote place. It’s not The Four Seasons, but it is clean, safe, quiet, offering all of the things that one needs for a comfortable stay. The only thing in the room that didn’t work was the actual phone, which, if you have a cell phone, is really not a deal at all. Pretty comfortable bed, nice spacious bathroom, ample parking, and wonderful staff! Bob was so great and very helpful! And, I was so very happy……

“The staff was very helpful . Our GPS stopped working and a staff member went on her computer to print out mapquest directions for us . On the negative side, the TV screen was blown so TV did NOT work . I reported this to staff at check in . We were not planning on watching TV so that was not a big deal . There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door , so the cleaning staff missed that one . Other than that , we were satisfied with our stay .”

“This is a lovely rustic one-room cabin in a beautiful location. It is off-grid, with the solar lights and wi-fi working well, and Onalee was such a lovely host - responsive, good communicator, and she followed through in every way. My arrival was delayed until after dark, and she responded by leaving a lantern on the front porch to make sure I could find the lights inside easily. Shower in the outhouse was nice and hot, the towels were laundered and replaced daily, and there is great diner 3……

“Wonderful place to stay. Everything you need was provided in case you forgot to bring it with you. Living room comfortably sits 6 with YouTube tv provided. Property was quite and fire pit in rear added to country living experience. I have already recommended this property to several friends and plan to return in spring.”

“Had a great stay! Great house, with a great view from the front porch, and a nice big property!”

“The check in was good. The host is very friendly and polite. She responds pretty quickly to questions. The apartment is located in a small town. It's very nice and quiet. The bed was very comfy. Not having a TV was very refreshing and relaxing. ”

“The apartment was cute! It was clean and smelled good! It looks like the finishes were rushed in the apartment but I did like the character of the different rooms! The front porch and the sun porch in the back were great sitting areas! If you like to watch TV, this is not a place for you! There's only like six channels available to watch and it's not a smart TV so you can't hook up your own stuff. The living room isn't much for lounging but we were gone most of our visit so it wasn't really a……

“We stayed the weekend visiting family and also visited Cooperstown which is about an easy hour drive. The Art Deco Victorian is a beautiful Victorian home decorate to define its name. Spacious 3 bedroom, corner lot with a great back yard that includes 2 parking spots on an asphalted portion of the yard. There are porches to each unit. We stayed in apt 2 which was more than amenable for a family of 4 with an active toddler and a fur baby. We advise bringing your own play pen or pack & play to……

“Thousands of mouse dropping by entrance. Have to step in to enter. Cabin smelled like mouse urine throughout. Large ants everywhere. Multiple screws loose and missing from stair case in cabin. Very unsafe. We left after one night short of our reservation. We only stayed 10 hours in the place and only because we were exhausted from traveling. Host refused to refund as he said I signed up for a “ cabin experience “. What a joke !!!!”

“The location was very remote and private yet close to stores if needed. The camp is rustic but it is very comfortable and very clean. We were visited every morning and evening by many deer who foraged in the front yard for apples. The host was very responsive and pleasant. This is a great place to get away from it all. Very quiet and remote so you can really see the stars clearly at night. Our 6 year old grandson frequently left photo bombs on the animal cams on the property and the owner……

“We loved this cozy place to stay. Matt and Eliza were genuinely friendly and attentive. The cottage is sweetly decorated and the small kitchen has everything you might need for an overnight. Really enjoyed the coffee in the morning. Bed very comfortable with extra blankets. The little fireplace in the sitting room put out a nice warmth for the cool Sept evening. The cottage is in a rural area, which means some winding around on country roads to get there, but well worth the extra effort. One……

“Well appointed with all you could need. Great communication with the host.”

“Property was beautiful would t change anything. Will definitely book again when we are in town.”

“The rental was clean and overall we were very pleased. However, the water smelled like rotten eggs which made it undesirable to take showers, washing, and water used for coffee and cooking. Also, it was not easy to contact the owner. We had to call Vrbo customer service line to get their contact info. We left a message on their voicemail but never actually got to speak to them.”

“Family of 6 with a dog ”

“Beautiful place to stay. Hosts were very welcoming.”

“host was very communicative, allowed us to extend our stay, there were plenty of kitchen supplies and things throughout the house so we found everything we needed (fishing rods, playing cards, etc) the area is so nice and everyone around is so kind especially the next door neighbor Eric. if you have a chance to meet him he’s an awesome guy.”

“Beautiful apartment! Really lovely. Fully equipped. Our host was very responsive.Easy drive to Binghamton! ”
