“The hotel was truly amazing. The location was perfect right in the middle of old town next to restaurants and a 5 min walk from the river front. The patio area was nestled in the middle of the hotel and felt like a breath of fresh air. The service was great they were extremely attentive. I also sprained my ankle and asked for some ice they had someone bring it in mins in a sealed bag so I can ice my ankle truly great hotel”

We stuitten op twee minpuntjes, namelijk de matras die redelijk hard was. Dat was minder comfortabel. Daarnaast was het raam van de badkamer stuk. Het sloot niet helemaal waardoor je 's nachts last kon hebben van straatlawaai. Iemand die licht slaapt, brengt best oordoppen mee. Voor de rest een zeer goede ligging, dicht……

“The location of the hotel was great for walking around but not easy to access via car. The breakfast seemed like a standard among all the hotels we stayed at in Portugal. Our first room has a broken shower that would flood the bathroom. We were able to switch rooms after a few days into a room that had another broken shower. Disappointing. The bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor. Definitely not orthopedic.”

“When i arrived, cleaning wasn't done. Staff explained that the cleaning service didn't advise them and had issue with number of check in this day. I came back 1h30 after and it was done. Staff was quick and helpfull , communication was done by phone as there is not reception ( appart) I stayed 1 day and i found Bed Bugs in the beds !!! I was on the apt 1st floor. Be very carefull !!! I have bits everywhere, and the bugs i found was big. Staff accept to refund the all stayed but i had to……

“A great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching. Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area. Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus. Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas. Walk in bathroom/ shower was without a window and limited mechanical extraction - so had a v damp smell - a design fault - but had to keep that door closed. But the……

“The staff were very attentive and helpful. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very clean. The beds are very comfortable too! Guest relations delivered a lovely gift for our 40th wedding anniversary as a surprise, very nice indeed and a lovely personal touch.”
