“This was a great vacation for my daughter's 18 birthday with some friends and family. We saw manatees the first morning out back in the canal. There was always some type of animal in the very sheltered canal if you have a boat. We brought our pontoon boat and had a day of very bad weather. We never worried once because we could see the boat from the back porch (50 yards away) and the canal is very sheltered and nice. So convenient to have the boat just feet from the back door and the heated pool was a perfect way to end the day! Convenient to everything in marathon but in a quiet community where we could relax. “The entire family thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the Florida Keys. We rented the property for a total of 21 days which met the needs of our extended family rather nicely. Units one thru five are described as "Water View." However, if a view of the water is desired, you should consider units one thru three. “The house was great and had everything we needed. Perfect location in Key Colony Beach with short walking distance to the club and multiple restaurants/bars. We had plenty of space for our 30' boat at the dock and enough space in the driveway to park the truck and trailer. We used the launch at the KCB marina and it was large enough and deep enough for our boat with very easy access to the canal.”
