「Wir haben die Unterkunft für einen Besuch in Stonehenge gebucht. Sie ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Auch das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe ins Zimmer gestellt. Frische Beeren, frischer Orangensaft, Milch, Joghurt, Müsli und Muffins. Wir würden die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen. Vielen lieben Dank an die Gastgeberin.」

「Insgesamt sehr gepflegte und gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer. Leider war im Hinterhof vor unserem Fenster eine riesige Lüftung, vermutlich von der Küche, die alle 20 Minuten für einige Minuten ansprang, was in einem sonoren Brummen mündete. Für Lärmempfindliche daher eventuell weniger geeignet.」

「There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. 」

「Absolutely LOVED the Stonehenge theme! Loved the little park and the mural in our room! The restaurant was quite good and well priced. My kids loved playing on the bus after eating.」

「The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price.」

「Good location near shopping mall and market. The room was spacious and comfortable but we needed to climb up the stairs with our heavy luggage. Dinner was delicious.」

「The Duke Hotel is truly excellent. Fantastic rooms, nicely decorated with plenty of character and a fantastic shower and coffee machine. The food and service is exceptional. A truly fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended. 」
