I only gave 4 stars for property condition and area around b/c we were in the 3rd floor which was below the lobby level. Even though our room was so charming, historic & clean -we felt like we were in the basement. I clicked city view but it was an alley view & at night we could hear people -very loudly screaming & walking through the……

“OH MY GOODNESS! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! SPECTACULAR! The yard and home are beautiful. I received a very warm welcome from Chemise. She served delicious breakfasts in the dining room every morning and was always available if I needed anything. Outside there are garden areas with chairs and tables. It was wonderful to sit and relax while hearing their water fountains. Amethyst Garden Inn is in a great neighborhood. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and tourist spots. The very elegant room I stayed……

“We traveled from Philadelphia. This is a beautiful inn on a tree lined street with ample parking. Free shuttle stop close by for transportation into town and river area. Beautiful parks and plenty of restaurants and things to do. Jim and Keith are awesome hosts and helped to make our stay memorable. Would absolutely recommend this inn. We will be back ”
