Davie Beach Hotel

"Hotel is close to the airport. I am an avid traveler and I always leave an honest non-biased opinion. For being a Hyatt property, typically these are really nice and service is always excellent. If I could cancel my reservarions for the next night I have to stay here I would. We arrived early evening, there was no one in line waiting to check in. It took for ever for someone to come and check us in. The breakfast they offer is very good. I am not sure if the hotel was fully booked, but plan on having no hot water to shower. If you do not mind cold showers then tou will have no issues. The cleanliness of the property is good."

"No soap in the bathroom or body wash in shower. Replaced with WATER and not soap. Charged for stuff I never should have been charged for. Arriving hotel staff sent me to another tower without even giving us a room number on the card. Went back and the second time she gave us the wrong room number. Finally after multiple attempts we got to our room. Very loud party’s going on around us. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Don’t recommend this hotel at all"

"Nice location easy to find. Just don’t park on the street, you will get a parking ticket like I did. No issues with check-in or checkout. The free towels and beach chairs are a nice extra."

"Hotels.com and this hotel refused to respond to inquiries. Their customer service process is so fractured, we were unable to address our concerns about a reservation for weeks. End result, they charged for a stay I wasn’t even able to check in. I reached out multiple occasions to cancel or address the issue. Beyond offended by both organizations. Please do better and best of luck in all your future endeavors… leave me out."

"This place is nothing like the pictures. You can tell right away but the old carpet and style in the lobby with old smell and outdated check in desk. Check in girl not friendly either. She made sure to reinforce about paying for parking and “resort fees” and wanted DL of *both* people checking in. Never heard of that before. Usually it’s the person whose name is on the reservation. We are not young spring breakers either. As soon as I walked in the room I thought the window was open but in reality the window didn’t shut all the way. The couch was sunk in and old looking and looked like something from the 80’s. I wouldn’t sit on it. The bed also sunk in the middle. Flimsy pillows. Worst nights sleep of the whole vacation. After paying almost $300 then you pay in addition a “resort fee” and parking which is ludicrous as they have a parking lot and what do you get for the “resort fee?” Certainly not coffee in the lobby. A tired coffee machine that looks like from a gas station that you have to pay for coffee. It is a money grab. What happened to hotel stays including amenities and parking? And the amenities were a pool which we didn’t use anyway. Shouldn’t “amenities” be included in the price? Across the street the resort on the beach was the same price and beautiful! To think we paid a lot for a tired old 80’s version of a hotel with subpar rooms and not friendly staff with a horrible night sleep is a huge bummer. I do not recommend this place at all. "
