「Second time staying I will be back 」

「Beautiful Place to stay when going to St.Thomas. Real chill and relaxing. Got a little busy on the beach from people getting off cruise ships. Only thing wish they had elevators and rooms outdated. Everything else was great!!!!」

「Everything was nice. A few misses overall with a couple daily cleaning of room that never happened as well as a couple food mishaps but overall very good. 」

「Do NOT plan to arrive early to this hotel or be treated kindly. We arrived around 3:00 pm knowing that check in is at 4 pm, but most hotels can accommodate an early check in if the rooms are ready. We explained that we would like to check in so we could freshen up prior to our 4:30 pm cab pickup and dinner reservation at 5 pm. The front desk person didn’t even look at her computer and told us check in is at 4. When 4:00 arrived so did the line of people. We had to change our reservation and...

「The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! 」

「Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. 」

「Overall loved the location and amenities. Staff was also great. Only issue in our room is it needs a bed/mattress replacement. I felt like I was laying on different levels of plywood. Caused some back discomfort. 」

「We loved everything about our stay - just wished we had stayed longer. The beachfront room was perfect for our family and the view was amazing. The beach was perfect for the kids to swim and snorkel and we even got to meet some friendly sting rays right off the shore! The restaurant had good food options - all of which were yummy. We will definitely be returning :)」

「Property was very quaint, the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the amenities were appropriate for the property. The pool was small but very nice providing a view of the hills surrounding St. Thomas and overlooking the town itself. It was within walking distance of just about everything that we wanted to see. The room was small, not posh, but very clean and comfortable. It was exactly what we were looking for in our breif layover in St. Thomas and we will be back when we can...

「Air conditioning is defective. Lost power twice. No hair blower, parking is not easy. Only the celiling cools me off. Can't use the tv because had to log in each time. Room per night is overprice and not a standard hotel.」
