“Overall, I had a good stay at the Super 8 in Slidell, with one significant disappointment. After 12 hours of driving, the woman at the front desk was exactly the kind of person you appreciate being greeted by. She was incredibly welcoming and personable and made checking in easy after a very long day. I wish I had gotten her name because she absolutely deserves recognition. I was immediately impressed by how clean the property was. The entrance and lobby were immaculate—clean, polished, and……

“The gentleman at the front desk was really nice but the cleanliness of the rooms is absolutely horrendous. It feels like we’re living in the Third World country. Motel 6 used to be one of the cleanest motels in the whole United States. You could always count on them for cleanliness, Cheap rooms, and great service. I don’t know who took over ownership, but whoever did is destroying all of their properties one by one they’re making it look like a Third World country.”

“For working purposes the property satisfies the need for lodging. The staff was “spot on”!!!! With a potential tropical storm coming close by the staff worked with me to cancel the remainder of my stay when I was released from job early. I have nothing negative to say.”
