「For what it is — this is an amazing hotel. It’s located in a historic area (right next to Jackson Square) and the buildings are older. Despite being older, they had nice rooms, updated amenities, and nice cold air conditioning. The staff was amazing, truly the best part. My partner and I were celebrating a special occasion and they made sure to congratulate us and seemed genuinely happy for us. The valet was great — very fast service and friendly people. I’d definitely recommend this stay!」

「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「I love this hotel and have stayed here many times. Location is perfect if you want to spend time in the Quarter. Safe valet parking off the street is a big plus (for a fee of course), the pool is a nice convienence and the courtyard is so serene and peaceful, a great place to unwind. Will definitely return.」

We have stayed at several other hotels and our impression was that the Grenoble House would be difficult to beat anywhere in the French Quarter. It’s on a gorgeous tree lined street, close enough to walk to Bourbon Street without being at the center of the craziness at night. And the pool area was wonderful!」

「The room was clean, but quite dark. We looked out directly onto the pool on the ground floor so we needed to keep the curtains closed the whole time so we had no natural light. There was also nowhere really to store any of our clothes which was a shame. Also, the only mirror available was either a small one in the bathroom or a slightly bigger one that was in the dark corner by the door. I understand that this property has a certain character or charm and that adds to it, but the door felt...

「Over priced. The parking charge is high. The shower is weak. 」

「The hotel was quintessential NOLA..small intimate full of character being an older space. The hotel being aged does not mean it has to smell awful. Since they have no air conditioning it was very damp and hot and smelled like mold and mildew. The rooms also only had a small window unit which did not really cool the room in the summer heat. The attached bar was also hot and smelled bad. Staff was very kind is the only good thing I can say about this hotel.」
