“The hotel reached out prior to our arrival to ask if we had special requests. Communication was wonderful throughout the stay, with text messages offering housekeeping service when we still had our do not disturb light selected (no hanging paper signs on the doors here!) The linens were quite nice and crisp, and the selection of pillows was wonderful. I found the mattress a bit firm for my preference and they added a mattress topper. “The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”

“This is my second time staying, and there isn’t a bad thing I can say about this hotel. Great pool, bar/lounge and a cute rooftop. The room is perfect, clean and modern with all the normal amenities.. and great lighting (which is rare for a hotel). The breakfast in the morning is perfect with fresh fruit, yogurt, pancakes, pastries and boiled eggs (I need protein for breakfast). “The room was clean, close to Mardi Gras parades and in a good location to walk to tourist attractions. All staff from front desk to bartender were very nice and pleasant.
