「We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

「Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! 「This was our third trip to the Valentine. This time we stayed in the new Dunas suites and they were amazing. The entertainment staff is top-notch at this resort. Special shout out to Isreal, Carlos, Shari and Pablo. We look forward to returning again soon with our adult children. The food at this resort is wonderful. I see some negative reviews on the food, but I think if you are a “hamburger and fries” kind of person this is probably not the resort for you. Valentin offers a beautiful relaxing...

「Room was absolutely beautiful with picturesque views. Room was exactly as shown during booking. Property is very clean and quiet. Gali, Ramses and Adriana were always present to make sure my stay was comfortable. They were great to talk with and excellent resource to good food spots. I will definitely come back here.」

「It is a new construction, the room was amazing, really clean, with ocean view, the pool really nice. The only thing that it was a big minus is that the Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room, we notified the front desk clerk and went to our room to try to fix it but couldn't be fixed and in that area my phone didn't have good reception there, other than that it was great. 」

The was water leak in the bathroom, our phone shower wouldn’t stay in its place, and there were tiny ants crawling around the bathroom sink. 「I recently stayed at Hotel El Cid Marina and unfortunately would not return. The biggest issue was the smell throughout the property. Many areas smelled strongly like sewage, and our original room had a terrible odor that reminded us of dirty laundry. We eventually requested a room change because the smell was unbearable. I especially would not recommend the Marina rooms near the lake, as the odor seemed even worse in that area. The staff was also disappointing. We often felt that guests...
