“I love to go sightseeing with my family members and I have stayed in countless hotels. I do not use to write negative feedback but my experience with this hotel is the worst among all, making me to feel that I have to write something. First of all, the receiptionist was impolite and even rude. I was told that there was a charge for the carpark. When I tried to ask the fee for parking, I could not understand why I gave the impression to the receptionist that I did not want to pay the fee. She……

“Beautiful hotel, clean and quiet considering it’s next to a train station. Food was superb, dinner was delicious despite the price and plenty of choice for breakfast. The only criticism I have would be the staff who were very polite and professional when spoken to however could have been more attentive. Had to ask for the bill 3 times after dinner and on check in at reception no information was given about hotel facilities, check out time, breakfast times etc. Great location can get train into……

“The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. ”

“I booked a single room with private bathroom. However, it does not locate in the room. I needed to go outside every time I used the closet and even I washed my hands. It’s not what I want for privacy and convenience although I was the only one who kept the bathroom key!”

“Pleasant staff, nice facilities”

“Lovely bay windowed room with garden views and enormous bathroom. We booked the upgraded room and the main difference to our friends standard room seemed to be the room location and the size of and facilities in the bathroom (we had twin washbasins, large bath, separate large shower, bidet, wc). The breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking. No dinner facilities or bar, but close to lots of bars and restaurants in the town.”
