“Madie’s place is a nice, chill place to stay. We had the whole place to ourselves because of having 8 people. It is an older place with all the rooms but one on the third floor and all bathrooms on the first so keep that in mind when booking because it’s not convenient and might be an issue for older people and young children. Besides that the only other negative is the condition and size of the bathrooms, very small besides one of them and old and dirty looking. The host was amazing her name……

“This is on the lower end of hotels. It's just a place if you really need a room and not much is available. Mostly for Filipinos, not really for foreigners. The a/c did work good and the staff was friendly ”

“Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. No natural ventilation. Smelt methane in the bathroom. At a time no hot water. No hot water to the sink. The sink not attached to the wall. No electrical wall outlets. The bathroom requires total renovation. The sheets were I would rate as second hand. In the time I spent there the room was never cleaned. I had to take the towels to be replaced. No lift to the third floor. The emergency exit had a padlock on it. And smokers used the exit , just to smoke there. I……

“Breakfast buffet was good, had different options per day, lots of bread, cereals, fruits, coffee, several viands and an omelette station plus a juice section as well. Staff in Kuna (restaurant) were friendly and accommodating. I had a foot spa at the second floor which was relaxing. I wasnt able to try their pool area but i saw it had a nice view. Overall, from the clean room, large lcd tv, bath and shower, friendly and accommodating staff, i would say i enjoyed my two night stay here. And oh,……

“Whenever I travel to Manila for business, this hotel has always been my first choice. However, my most recent stay was quite disappointing. While I can accept that the facilities are getting old, the air conditioner was leaking water throughout the room during my stay. The floor became slippery, and I almost fell because of it. I have stayed here many times in the past and have always had a good experience, which makes this situation even more disappointing. Unfortunately, for my next business……

“More cleaning esp the bathroom”

“Room is big enough for a family to stay. Tho the soap and shampoo should be given each day. Needs to improve on racks for soap and shampoo in their bathroom. Also, the bathroom has stains on the tiles. Need to clean more. Tho we had a good stay, aircon cannot cool the entire area during summer. Ref is not working.”
