「The room wasn't clean, had food in a madeup bed. Spills were on the table and chair. Telephone was missing buttons and was sticky so I couldn't call front desk had to walk down there.. Staff was friendly」

「Breakfast was sub par, Best western normally has a good breakfast but this one didn’t. The beds were on the small side, I don’t believe that they were queen’s. The price was high but I guess all of the hotels are priced high for the area, I would expect more for that price it wasn’t a elite hotel, don’t know if I would recommend it to anyone.」

「The hotel isn't perfect but the new owner is working his butt off getting it better day by day. Our room was clean we didn't have a microwave but as soon as I asked where to find one the owner brought a brand new one to the room.」

「No hot water, dusty and musty room, phone did not work to contact the front desk, swirls all over the mirrors, door didn’t shut properly. Pool was freezing Staff is apologetic and great. Breakfast was good.」

「Excellent location, easy walk to the park. Deluxe cabin was plenty big for our group. We had 3 adults and 3 kids. Two full bathrooms was a plus! No cons but due to location near water and woods like setting do not leave food out! You will get ants. The top loft has a low ceiling but there were 2 queens and 2 TVs in separate areas up there. Would definitely return!」

「The room was clean but dated. The towels were very thin. The breakfast was good, with the usual make your own waffles, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, and juice machine. My in room safe was locked and unusable. All in all, it is a decent hotel whose rating is about accurate.」

「This hotel has a nice location and friendly staff. However, the place is in need of updates like a new mattress, faucet in shower, and TV. I don’t think the mini fridge was working. I put water bottles inside and it was still room temperature the next morning. The room felt a bit damp which explains why the AC was turned down to 61 degrees when we got there to dry it out.」

「Booked in advance with prepaid option and ended up with the first room on the first floor - definitely worse room in any hotel especially one that does not have a door separating the rooms from the entryway/check in area. Hotel was completely booked and very noisy. Great location and we may consider it again if we could guarantee a better room. Parking was free and available.」
